Which mill is suitable for grinding carbon black?

Carbon black is quite light, sticky and large volume. Till now, still do not have a grinding mill is quite welcomed and accepted in the carbon black grinding field. Here we’d like to introduce some other mills for carbon black grinding.

1. Jet mill: grinding by the air strength, high power consumption but low capacity. If the user wants to grind into fine, more than 800 meshes, for example, the real capacity will be very small, mostly it reduces monthly.

2. Raymond mill, the discharge size can only get 50~325mesh, roller and ring will easily wear, as carbon black is sticky and need a layer between roller and ring. In all, Raymond mill is not suitable for carbon black grinding.

3. Ball mill, better for 50~200mesh powder grinding, worst for grinding carbon black, high power consumption, and worst performance. Most clients won’t use ball mill for carbon black powder production.
